Richer Thoughts
Hey {{first_name}}!
You ever notice how summer doesn't ask? It just arrives.
One minute it's "I'm just chilling this weekend." Next minute? You've got brunch, a birthday, something outside, and a group text that says "you coming?" all hitting you in the same 48 hours.
And none of it feels extra in the moment. It all feels like... yeah, I actually want to do that. That's exactly how summer gets you! Lol.
Your Richer Tip

The goal isn't to spend less this summer. The goal is to decide what your "Summer Number" is before you're in the middle of the fun.
Think of your Summer Number as a seasonal boundary, not a rigid monthly budget.
You simply look ahead at June, July, and August, add up the big things you already know are coming (trips, weddings, family cookouts), and set a single "Joy Cap" for the season.
When you pick your total number now, you aren't guessing or feeling guilty later. You've already approved the spend, so you can say "Yes" with total peace of mind.
Choose Your Adventure

Ready to lock in your number? Choose the path that fits your style and your situation today:
→ If you want to keep it simple: Pick just one event you know is coming up in June. Decide on a firm spending limit for it today. That's it!
→ If you want to automate it: Log into your banking app and set up a temporary "Nickname" account. Label it "Summer Joy" and move your planned funds there. When you're out having fun, pay strictly from that account. When that bucket hits zero, summer is officially wrapped! It keeps your regular bill money completely safe.
Trending Now

Fewer Americans are traveling this summer than any point in the last six years. And the average trip is now costing $4,069 — up 17% from last year.
I've been seeing a lot of talk about "Experience Inflation." Basically, being outside is costing a lot more than it used to.
Tiffany’s Take: Gas is up 39% since February and airfare is up nearly 15% year over year. But look, I'm not mad at it. We deserve to enjoy our lives! Just don't let the joy of June become the stress of July. Plan the "Yes" so you can truly enjoy it.
Goodie Bag
If you just calculated your Summer Number and realized that "Experience Inflation" is hitting your plans hard, take a deep breath. You do not have to stay trapped inside all season just to save a dollar.
